Dr. Prins grew up in the small town of Manistique in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It was there that she became interested in chiropractic when being introduced to the profession by a friend and mentor. Dr. Prins was a runner in high school and was inspired with her improved performance after starting chiropractic care- it was with that she decided that would be her career choice.
Dr. Prins attended Grand Valley State University for her undergraduate degree in biomedical science. It was during that time she became a certified massage therapist in order to broaden her skills in helping people with musculoskeletal conditions. She then moved to San Jose, California to attend Palmer West College of Chiropractic. Dr. Prins graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Prins and her husband, Taylor, moved into their first home in West Michigan. She is happy to be helping patients as an associate doctor at Lakeshore Family Chiropractic.
In her spare time, Dr. Prins likes cooking and getting out on the water to enjoy the outdoors. She is happy to again call the mitten “home” with her husband and dog, Brody.
